ABOUT THEMBI SITHOLE

Meet Thembi Sithole (52), whose inspirational journey is a lesson in why it pays to persevere. Sithole’s story started 31 years ago when she began washing cars for her then former employer at his panel beating workshop. She quickly ascended to a receptionist and even helping out with the administration.
“He received many compliments from clients about the lady who answered the phone and her beautiful voice,” she says. “That’s how I landed the receptionist job. I seized every opportunity to learn new skills and was soon doing quotations and estimations.


She has now become a motivational speaker sharing her entrepreneurial journey, insights and business strategies she has learned from her mentors and enterprise development programmes with other women around the country.

“No matter what happens, you need to be prepared to move mountains for your dream, no matter how insurmountable they might seem.”
